Note that Retrouvaille is a faith-based peer ministry designed for and specialises in working with couples married in accordance with the matrimonial rites of the Roman Catholic Church. It also provides support for marriages recognisable as presumptively valid matrimonial contracts under the Canon Law of the Roman Catholic Church and who are prepared to accept the Roman Catholic understanding of the matrimonial covenant.
